Video: The Beatles - Take Good Care Of My Baby (1962 Decca Audition)
Take Good Care of My Baby was written by Carole King and Gerry Goffin. The song was made famous when Bobby Vee released his version in 1961.
The version heard here is the Beatles performing the tune during their audition for Decca Records on January 1, 1962. This was before Ringo Starr joined the band, so Pete Best is their drummer during the era. George Harrison performs the lead vocals on this recording.
